Chinese goosanders sometimes make a nest of three. One male and two females. The nest is made in a hollow tree. The two females lay their eggs both in the same nest. Together with the male, they provide the chicks.
The beak of the Chinese goosander is serrated. This allows it to fish well catch. It often dives completely underwater to look for its food. He then remains about thirty seconds underwater. In shallow water, the Chinese goosander sticks out only his head under water.
