Playgrounds and fun for children
At AquaZoo, as well as spotting animals, you can also play and go on adventures. Scattered throughout the park, you'll find two playgrounds, a large air trampoline and the "Play by the Stream' area, where children can climb, scrmable and jumb. Along the way, the adventure trail provide extra challenges, with tree trunks, stepping stones and a rope raft. This akes a visit to AquaZooa day full of variety for the whole family!

Play and climbing equipment
AquaZoo has two large playgrounds. At the front of the park, you'll find a playground full of challenges! Children can let off steam here before (or after) visiting the animals. The slide and the various play and climbing structures ensure that children can let off steam to their heart's content, whilst parents, grandparents or other carers can keep an eye on them from the terrace whilst enjoying a snack and a drink.

Playing by the stream
Fancy cooling off, splashing about and exploring? In the water playground, children can enjoy hours of fun surrounded by nature. Let the water flow, build sand dams and discover how water finds its way through play. The water playground is located close to the food truck, behind the Asian small-clawed otter enclosure. Whilst the childrn are having fun with water and sand, parent can enjoy a moment's peace and quiet in the green surroundings.

Friesland's largest air trampoline
The second playground is located halfway along the route through the park, near the Beach Club café and restaurant. With a view of the playground from the terrace, you can take a break from your day for a lovely lunch, for example.
As well as climbing frames and the terrace, you'll find a gigantic air trampoline here. And not just any old one... with a diameter of 20 metres and a height of 3 metres, it's the very largest in Friesland!

Rowing Pond
Of course, AquaZoo is all about water fun! Halfway along the route, you'll find a rowing pond where you can enjoy a trip in a rowing boat. We advise that children under the age of 9 should only enter the rowing pond under the constant supervision and guidance of an adult.
