Photo contest featuring nature photography at AquaZoo

AquaZoo Leeuwarden invites lovers of photography and nature to participate in a special photo contest. The twelve best animal photos will be exhibited for a year in the entrance hall of the zoo.

Photographers, both hobbyist and professional, can submit a photo through AquaZoo's website from March 1 through March 31, 2025. The entry must be a recent animal photo with no people in it. The photo must be of high resolution and a maximum of one photo per participant may be submitted.

From all entries, AquaZoo will choose the twelve best photos. These will be printed on 50x70 centimeters and given a prominent place in the entrance hall of the park, with the photographer's name mentioned. The exhibition will open on Friday, April 11, 2025. The winning photographs will remain on display for one year, after which photographers may take their print home.
