Is AquaZoo open to the public?
We are pleased to announce that AquaZoo is open to the public again.

Are there things I should take into account before coming to AquaZoo?
RIVM guidelines are leading at all times! It goes without saying that your safety and that of our animals and employees come first.

AquaZoo uses a maximum number of visitors per day for safety reasons. To monitor this maximum and to guarantee your visit, it is mandatory to reserve online access to the park in advance.

Please note: this also applies to season ticket holders, people who have bought a ticket (through an action partner) or who have won a ticket. If you don’t have a ticket yet, you can only purchase it online in our webshop.

If you already have a ticket or if you are a season ticket holder, reserve your entrance.
If you don’t have a ticket yet, order it online.

What are the rules regarding the use of a mouth mask?
For visitors from the age of 13 it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in all indoor areas of AquaZoo. This does not apply to your outdoor walk through the park.

Can I just enter AquaZoo at any time?
No, we use a maximum number of visitors per day for security reasons. To monitor this maximum and to guarantee your visit, it is mandatory to reserve online access to the park in advance. You can choose from different arrival times.

I have reserved my access online but I have lost / forgotten my e-ticket, what now?
Please check your mail and spam box.

What measures are taken in AquaZoo to guarantee the safety of everyone?
For safety reasons, a number of measures have been taken to guarantee your safety and that of our animals and employees.

  • There is a maximum number of visitors per day in the park
    To monitor this maximum and to guarantee your visit, it is mandatory to reserve online access to the park in advance
  • Tickets can only be purchased online to avoid queues at the box office
  • Payment preferably by pin or contactless
  • There are temporarily no feed presentations
  • Everywhere a distance of 1.5 meters is maintained and, where necessary, visitors and employees are separated by means of a (plexi) glass wall
  • Employees supervise group size and the 1.5 meter distance
  • Disinfection gel is available at every toilet facility and shop

Naturally, people stay at home with complaints of a cold, cough, sore throat or fever. If a housemate or family member is bothered by this, the entire household stays at home.

I have not been able to use my subscription for a long time. How will I be compensated?
Your subscription is automatically renewed for the period that we have been closed. This means an extension of 5 months. An example: if your subscription expired on 31-12-2020, it has been extended until 31-05-2021. Every subscriber has received an email from us explaining this compensation. Did you not receive the email? Take a look in your spam box or read the e-mail here.

How do you protect the animals against the Coronavirus when the park is open to the public again?
Animals and people are separated from each other, making physical contact almost impossible

Are certain animal shelters closed?
The maki area is open to a limited extent (Wed, Sat, Sun between 11: 00-14: 00)

Can I use the toilets?
The toilet facilities have been adapted and can be used

Can I buy something to eat or drink in the park?
Yes, the catering establishments are open.

I have booked a group package, activity or children’s party at AquaZoo. Can this continue?
Children’s parties are again possible from 19 May with a maximum of 2 adults as an accompaniment. Group arrangements are unfortunately not yet possible. If you have any questions about this, you can contact us on 088-9000360.

I have a discount coupon or pass, how do I book online in advance?
To do this, choose the option “I have a discount coupon or pass” in the ticket shop. Then select the number of people for whom you have a discount coupon or pass and purchase tickets for € 0. Upon arrival at AquaZoo, you can then have your e-tickets scanned together with your discount coupon or pass and pay for the ticket (s) minus the relevant discount at the box office.

I have already bought a ticket online and have reserved a time slot for the period that the park was closed. Can I go to the park at a different time?
To give you the opportunity to visit AquaZoo at another time, your current tickets will be automatically renewed, so that they can be used until December 31, 2021. You must again reserve a visit day and time slot on the website (“I already have a ticket”).

I already have an action ticket (such as DPG Media and ANWB) with a validity until December 31, 2020. Will the validity be extended?
The duration of these promotions will be extended until July 11, 2021. For further questions, please contact the ticket provider. Also for these tickets applies that a visit day and time slot must be reserved on the website (“I already have a ticket”).

I already have a ticket through a lottery (such as BankGiro Loterij and Nationale Postcode Loterij). Can I go to the park at a different time?
If you have made a reservation in the period from Tuesday December 15 to Tuesday May 18 through a lottery, you will receive a message from the relevant lottery with the new code, so that when the park is open again can make a reservation. For further questions about tickets via a lottery, you can contact the ticket provider via info@uitstapjenaarkeuze.nl or info@dagjewegnaarkeuze.nl.

Where can I park my car?
AquaZoo has a spacious parking lot, keep your distance! (Parking for a fee). Are you coming by car? Then a parking coin is mandatory. The parking coin is available online and at the cash desk. If you have a parking subscription, you can simply exit it.

I still have a discount coupon, can I use it?
If the validity date is correct (we can extend this by the number of days that we have been closed)

Can I withdraw extra money on the spot?
Yes, this is possible.

I bought a catering combi deal through the website. Can I still use it?
You can use your purchased catering combi deal on your next visit.
